Elon Musk has broken his silence on building robots. He claims that they’re changing the world. Elon Musk is a business magnate and investor. He is the founder, CEO, and chief engineer of SpaceX; angel investor, CEO, and product architect of Tesla, Inc.; owner, CTO, and chairman of Twitter. When you think about what the future is going to look like, let’s say 10, 20, 30 years from now, what is the one thing you expect to see? For some, it is flying cars, or maybe better EVs and high-tech smartphones. But the one thing most of us can agree on is that going into the future, robots are probably going to be a dominant part of our lives, and there will be lots of them. Most businesses are getting every aspect of their production process automated, and it seems there is no way around it. And Elon Musk Musk is just as obsessed about robots as the rest of us. But he has the resources to actually make these robots a reality and put them to use in so many different ways. Keep in mind that when we did AI Day, this version of Optimus didn’t work at all. So the rate of improvement here I think is quite significant. This is how far the Tesla bot has come, but there is still a long way to go. Tesla recently held their annual Investor Day event, and while Elon Musk touched on many things, one of the most notable parts of the event was the update to the Tesla bot, or Optimus, as Musk likes to call it.
