Radka Trokšiarová’s two friends were killed in a shooting outside an LGBTQ+ bar in Bratislava, Slovakia, in 2022. The attacker was inspired by the Terrorgram Collective: a transnational online network that promoted acts of white supremacist violence and is the subject of a new FRONTLINE/ProPublica documentary.

Thompson explains what the Bratislava attack reveals about modern-day terror: “It was a pure example of how influencers today can encourage and inspire other people to go out and commit acts of terrorism.”
