These two towers, encapsulating a decade of meticulous planning and construction, not only symbolize Qatar’s national seal with their sword-like design but also mark a new chapter in luxury hospitality.
Qara Towers host two luxury hotels, each comprising 37 floors of unmatched opulence. With their opening just 12 weeks away, the excitement is palpable. The hotels boast almost 500 suites and hotel rooms, along with 18 restaurants, bars, and cafes, all designed to surpass the grandeur of existing mega hotels in the Gulf. The highlight is the world’s largest chandelier, spanning 57 meters, and a unique multimedia Kaleidoscope set to mesmerize guests in the hotel lobby.
Under the meticulous leadership of German manager Christian Hilt, the team faces the formidable challenge of meeting a hard deadline. The pressure is intense, with every detail scrutinized to achieve perfection. The commitment to quality is evident in every aspect, from the choice of the finest materials to the pursuit of sustainable building practices. The towers proudly bear the five-star GSAS certification for design and construction, a testament to their energy efficiency and eco-friendly design.
As the hotels near completion, the logistical hurdles are immense. The task of ensuring timely deliveries, setting up the gas connections for the kitchens, and training the staff of 1,130 people from 73 nations is monumental. Yet, amidst these challenges, there’s a sense of achievement and anticipation.
The entrance hall of the six-star hotel is set to become an iconic attraction with its 40-meter tall Kaleidoscope and an LED high-performance wall, offering guests an immersive visual experience.
