The air defense system MANTIS (Modular, Automatic and Network capable Targeting and Interception System) is a protective system against all kinds of air attacks. It is the last line of defense and destroys attacking weapons in close proximity with high effectiveness. It defends against missiles, artillery shells, and mortars (known as RAM (Rolling Airframe Missile) targets), as well as aerial targets such as drones or cruise missiles.
